Where do I start? A couple weeks a go I had the pleasure (and I think the blessing too) of getting to spend an afternoon and a little 'extra' time with these dear friends (my hubby and dad above have been friends for over 20 years!) who took off on a new adventure in a new state just today!

I always love doing these shoots for those who are leaving beautiful California as I love California and love to give folks a little piece of it they can take and keep with them forever. We opted to do the family session in Ocean Beach with the very scenic and typical California beach vibe. While this was a bitter sweet shoot, I always feel so very blessed and a little lucky too,  to 'steal' a few hours all to myself with those who are leaving while doing what I love and capturing memories of some of their last time here in gorgeous San Diego!

                 Some of my favorite and last shots are of the kids and family just loving on and interacting with each other while enjoying a warm and beautiful California sunset on the beach one last time. <3 <3 <3

I believe little guy was dancing here. He is quite the Michael Jackson fan by the way...this sure looks like an M.J. move ha ha ;)~ ....love these candid moments with mother and children. Something about this shot just seems so natural and really reminds me of them. :)

Love you guys and will truly, truly, truly miss each one of you! Thank you for allowing me to capture some of your last time here in this beautiful city and I hope you will be blessed for years to come with these memories and a little piece of San Diego always with you.
