This is the third year in a row I have photographed these beautiful children and enjoy watching them grow in front of my camera so very much. This year we went to the beautiful Glorietta Bay on Coronado island in San Diego. This lovely children's lifestyle photo session was so much fun to capture and what a perfect day for it to take place. I  love being a photographer in San Diego with so many scenic places and amazing weather almost all year long. 
 Taking place on a mild late afternoon in winter here in San Diego, the clouds were just right and the sun perfect for collecting memories (as well as shells) along the shore. There was a light breeze and gorgeous sunshine as a backdrop and we had almost the whole shore to ourselves, besides a few seagulls. I hope you enjoy these special moments we collected and share with you here from our late afternoon, seaside.

Late afternoon, seaside
Trying to bottle time
Collecting these moments
Like shells and sunshine
Sun kisses shoulders,
Water, and sand
And nothing's arranged by
The hands of man
The surf presents shells
Some broken and crushed
Sometimes whole treasures are
Taken back in a rush
But your eyes, child, they fill
With wonder and awe,
My greatest adventures,
The best gifts of all,
I try to hold onto the moments
As close as one can
Though I fumble as time slips
Like sand through my hands
And watch as the tide changes
Unfolds in no rush
While seagulls fly
 Across sunset's blush.
